The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) has been named as an official partner of American Express Small Business Saturday and Holiday Shop Local Campaign for a sixth consecutive year.
The GCVCC has teamed up with American Express again this year to serve as a local Neighborhood Champion for the Coachella Valley Small Business Saturday efforts and Shop Local Campaign. The GCVCC supports the effort through PR and advertising campaigns within the Coachella Valley market, as well as general communication to the shopping public. One of the major components of this year’s shop local campaign will be the “28 Days of Shopping Local” digital showcase to run across all GCVCC local chamber social media pages. The campaign will highlight local establishments the community can support within their respective city.
“The American Express Small Business Champion designation is important to us,” says Chamber President and CEO Joshua Bonner. “We encourage our community to shop local all year long, but the partnership with American Express and their Small Business Saturday campaign allows us to amplify that voice at a critical time for our local retailers.”
