News from the GCVCC Legislative Advocacy Committee
Washington, DC: In a letter to the Office of Congressman Raul Ruiz, the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) expressed their support and concerns with key provisions in the American Rescue Plan (ARP) currently being debated in Congress. In general, the GCVCC voices our support for bipartisan legislation that offers additional pandemic relief to speed up vaccinations and to support families, employers, and communities until we achieve immunity levels that allow for a safe and full reopening of the Coachella Valley and surrounding regional economy.
