News from the GCVCC Business Legislative Action Committee
Indio, CA: The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) supports the City of Indio’s application to develop and implement an Active Transportation Plan (ATP). The Plan will identify projects that make it easier and safer for residents to walk or bike to local destinations and increase recreation activity. The Chamber works closely with the City to promote our local businesses and community. We see many potential benefits through the implementation of this Plan that will help to resolve deficiencies in connectivity and better accommodate multi-modal travel consistent with the City of Indio’s General Plan.
