Coalition Letter:
We write to express our support for SB 336, which would require that before the California Department of Public Health (CDHP) or a local health official takes measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they publish the measures for 72 hours on their internet website and reach out to local organizations representing local business interests.
The covid19.ca.gov website has been instrumental in informing our communities about the requirements of each tier in the CDHP’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy framework. The website is a resource for state and local elected officials and leaders in order to ensure that the state is all on the same page in terms of its updated policies.
