Mama’s House Ministries Announces Three New Board Members

June 11, 2026

News from: Mama’s House Ministries

Maurae Quigley, President of Mama’s House Ministries, has announced the appointment of three new board members to the organization’s distinguished Board of Directors, to help lead it through its dynamic new phase of growth and service to vulnerable women in the community.  Tricia Prentice, Dori Anderson, and Kristine Fioresi have joined the Mama’s House Ministries Board.

“All three of these extraordinary women are respected long-time supporters who are deeply connected in the Coachella Valley,” said Maurae Quigley.  “Their commitment, community, influence, and willingness to get their hands dirty make them invaluable additions to the Mama’s House Ministries’ Board.”

Tricia Prentice was born and raised in Oklahoma, where she began her business career in the oil and gas industry. She then moved to Dallas and worked for a large law firm, eventually relocating to Palm Desert where she met and fell ln love with her husband Tom Prentice, who has a successful career in the financial services industry.  They have owned and operated several successful businesses in the Coachella Valley, and Tricia is actively involved with various charitable causes in addition to Mama’s House, which include Eisenhower Health Foundation’s Circle of Stars, McCallum Theatre Muses, Well of the Desert, and Dogs for our Brave.

Dori Anderson is a graduate of UC Berkeley with an MBA from UCLA and brings to the Mama’s House Board considerable business and design experience as a former Partner at Anderson-Gillette Interiors. She is active in Palm Desert Presbyterian Community Church, and has been an energetic and generous supporter of Mama’s House for years, contributing greatly to its growth and mission.

Kristine Fioresi brings over 20 years of professional experience in human resources, along with a strong academic background in counseling and communications. Kristine holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California Riverside. She is drawn to Mama’s House for its faith-based mission and its emphasis on strong educational programs that equip mothers for long-term stability and independence. Kristine has four children and eleven grandchildren, and is a resident of La Quinta.

The new and expansive Anne Silverstein Campus for Mama’s House offers mothers and their children shelter and an extensive one-of-a-kind program of Hope, with a lasting impact on families, communities and generations. Mama’s House helps mothers find the courage to carry their babies to term or to parent when facing uncertainty and challenging hurdles. With its highly successful, faith-based Pathways To Success Program, Mama’s House offers a once-in-a-lifetime “hands up” opportunity for these vulnerable women wishing to change their situations, equipping these mothers with necessary life skills for stability, recovery and self-sufficiency.

Mama’s House President Maurae Quigley was an integral part of the creation of the Anne Silverstein Campus For Mama’s House, being involved in everything from planning to execution of the transformational project that expanded Mama’s House’s capacity from 10 moms with their babies to 36, who are housed in a large main home with five additional casitas. She says her role now, having completed the physical expansion, is to take Mama’s House to the next level by scaling up the organization’s reach, programs, and impact.

“I am extremely pleased to have Tricia, Dori, and Kristine fully on board and helping to guide Mama’s House in this new and exciting phase of its journey,” said Maurae. “We have a wonderful team in place, and I’m looking forward to new successes as we fulfill our promise and our mission to the community we serve.  I have seen firsthand how Mama’s House transforms lives.  We’re not just offering shelter — we’re offering hope, dignity, and a chance for these women to reclaim their futures. My vision is to extend that impact even further, making sure no woman in need ever feels alone or without options.”
