On July 6th, Beautiful Day restaurant graciously hosted a GCV Morning Mixer. The morning was enjoyed by all with 52 people attending, including Acrisure Arena, Variety of the Desert, LifeStream Blood Bank, Dessert Jet, Doggy Mobile Gym, Entravision, Integrity Agents Insurance, Aflac, Alzheimer’s Association, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, DeRose Displays, Desert Regional Medical Center, La Quinta Resort & Club, Visit Greater Palm Springs and many more. The Chamber was excited to see that 40% of the attendees were newcomers.
Jeff Holman, GCVCC Board Member, opened the event by welcoming Mackenzie and Justin, owners of Beautiful Day restaurant, and thanked them for providing guests with a full breakfast bar. Both owners shared the history of the Veteran family-owned business and the specialties that made the restaurant unique. Delicious treats including egg, cheese and crispy potato burrito served with a tiny bottle of secret spicy sauce. For those who preferred a lighter meal, the granola yogurt, and avocado toast provided a refreshing bite. The room was filled with great conversations, relaxing music, and delicious farm to table cuisine. This event was a true success, many connections were made, information was shared, and fun was had.
Later, a raffle opportunity was held to give away 3 gift cards that were provided by Beautiful Day and 2 ticket packages donated by Waring International Piano Competition. Jeff Holman closed the event by inviting guests to the next GCV evening mixer at the Mary Pickford Theater on July 20th.
