Old Town Artisan Studios is pleased to announce Roccie Hill as its new Executive Director. Hill brings more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership, with a strong background in community engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning.

A passionate advocate for the arts and underserved communities, Hill has secured millions in funding through grants, sponsorships, and donor relationships. Her previous leadership roles include Executive Director at the Mendocino Art Center and Guide Dogs of the Desert. She also served as Director of Development for the UK’s Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, where she secured various 6 and 7-figure donations, hosted by His Majesty King Charles.

Hill chaired the California Association of Nonprofits Public Policy Council for eight years and was honored with President Barack Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in volunteerism.

“It is a true joy to welcome Roccie Hill,” said Founder Victory Grund. “Her passion, curiosity, and deep understanding of how art can uplift and heal will be a powerful asset to our organization.”

In addition to her nonprofit experience, Hill is the author of four novels, including The Blood of My Mother (2023, Open Road/Bloodhound Books) which won 1st Place in the WILLA Awards for Historical Fiction in 2024, and The Wounds of My Father, to be published May 2025.
