What do you get when you combine 4 large scissors, 4 ribbons, champagne and a group of enthusiastic volunteers? A huge joint ribbon-cutting with lots of happy attendees! The Assistance League invited 4 Chambers to help celebrate the Grand Opening of their new Resale Boutique on Hwy in Palm Desert: the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber, the Palm Springs Chamber, the Rancho Mirage Chamber and the Palm Desert Chamber.

Guest were invited to a champagne toast and to shop in the store that had unique items from clothing, to household goods, to shoes to jewelry. Items were beautifully displayed with amazing prices. Their store meets a variety of community needs. When you shop, you support their Operation School Bell® program, as well as a variety of other local philanthropic endeavors. When you make a purchase, you are not just taking home a hidden treasure, you are helping others to receive treasure in their own lives. What is so unique about the Assistance League’s Resale Shop is that it is completely managed and run by it’s army of volunteers. There are no paid employees.
