The Cathedral City High School Choirs, directed by Fides May Le Roy, composed of talented young ladies and gentlemen in grades 9-12, aim to promote choral music in Cathedral City and the Coachella Valley. The multi-ensemble choir, including Lion’s Pride Chamber Singers, the official choir of the City of Cathedral City, has enjoyed numerous accomplishments such as performing at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and earning the Gold, First Place, and Outstanding Choir Award at the World Strides Heritage National Festival. The choir’s alumni are found in prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music and Pepperdine University. Investing in this choir means investing in the music education of youth and supporting the continued promotion of good choral music.
