The City of La Quinta presents a Holiday Exhibition on December 4, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. The free event takes place at the Civic Center Park at the Wellness Center entrance.
As part of the exhibition, the City will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony, modified this year into a Holiday Exhibition to encourage social distancing and safety. There will also be a live-streamed tree lighting countdown followed by a physically distant Santa Selfie and goodie bag give away. This event is free and photos and goodie bags will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Mayor Evans and City Council will be conducting the tree lighting countdown and flipping the switch. The live-streamed portion of the event will take place and be able to be viewed on the City of La Quinta’s Facebook and YouTube pages promptly at 6 p.m.
Following the health and safety COVID-19 guidelines provided by Riverside County, all attendees and City staff members are required to wear face coverings, and social distancing will be enforced.
